son oblicuos, por una necesidad adaptativa que les permite proteger el sistema visual del exceso de luz y los fuertes destellos -por ejemplo del hielo y de la arena del desierto- que pueden dañar estructuras tan delicadas como la retina.
Es por ello que la abertura entre el párpado superior y el inferior se hace más estrecha.
La fisonomía del ojo mongoloide viene en realidad determinada, además de por la estructura ósea facial, por lo que los antropólogos llaman la brida mongoloide y el repliegue palpebral superior. Este último, que se monta en el párpado superior, está constituido en su parte interna por una bolsita de grasa que hace que el párpado aparezca hinchado y las pestañas más cortas, aunque la longitud de éstas es idéntica a la de las otras razas. La brida mongoloide acentúa aún más la anatomía rasgada del ojo. Se trata de una doblez cutánea que prolonga hacia dentro el repliegue -palpebral para cubrir la carúncula lacrimal -pequeña prominencia en el lado interior del ojo-, y desaparece confundiéndose con la piel del rostro.

Interesante la forma de interpretar por adaptaciona medio la fisonomia fisica...solo que hay algo que no me cierra......el desierto, tando de arena como la tundra y el hielo, estan bien para siberia y mongolia....pero en el sur de china.....no cuaja, en la peninsula de Korea, tampoco y menos en las islas japonesas........ya se me van a decir que es la migracion de la gente....lo cual tambien es valido....

jajaja... exactamente...
Anda anticipàndose muy bien a las respuestas, Sir Gatiròpulos....
Pensaba que era solo un pliegue de piel, lo que le daba forma a este tipo de ojo, pero como suele suceder casi siempre, hay razones "ocultas", en este caso, la bolsita de grasa...
(Con los perros pekineses, pareciera que no funciona esto de la adaptaciòn genètica al entorno... no aclaro para que no oscurezca... jejeje).
